MIT's recent study sheds light on the significant effects of generative AI, specifically ChatGPT, on mid-level professional writing tasks. The findings of this study are remarkable, and as such, they hold implications for the future of work. The study assigned occupation-specific writing tasks to 444 college-educated professionals, with half of them randomly exposed to ChatGPT.
